Senator Emily Claire Steele is a passionate, caring, and enthusiastic sentor from Virginia, holding her third term this year. She is an advocate for her people, helping accomplish goals to make Virigina and America become the best they can be. Growing up in Orlando, Flordia with the Kennedy Space Center just an hour away, Steele has always been surrounded by innovation, ingenuity, and creativity. This has actively shaped her outlook on life, inspiring her to become an astronaut for NASA, allowing her to explore space in 1990. After that life-altering experience, Steele channeled her constant desire to learn and she continued her studies at Harvard Business School, learning what it takes to prosper in America's economy.
